Dr. Jianping Mei is Professor of Finance at
Chueng Kong Graduate School of Business
(CKGSB). He is also Associate Professor of
Finance at the Stern School of Business, New
York University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics
from Princeton University and has taught at
University of Chicago, Princeton University,
Tsinghua University, University of Amsterdam,
Bocconi University, and Hong Kong University of
Science and Technology. His major areas of
research include international asset pricing and
real asset finance. He has published over 30
articles in American Economic Review, Journal of
Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of
Financial Economics, Real Estate Economics,
Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics,
and other academic journals. He has received
several “Best Research Paper Awards” from
various academic organizations. His research has
been covered extensively by major news media
in Asia, North American and Europe. He has
been a consultant and financial advisor to some
of the largest financial institutions in the world,
including Prudential Insurance of America, Fidelity
Investment, UBS, Warburg Pincus, Asia
Development Bank and etc. Dr. Mei is a principal
developer of the Mei Moses Fine Art Price
Indices, which have been covered by New York
Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times,
Barron's, Los Angels Times, Business Week,
Times, Forbes, and other world news media. The
indices have been adopted by several major US
and overseas banks for private banking. |
