Mr. Innes Meek joined CDC in 1992 and is
responsible for CDC investments in funds in
China, Malaysia and Latin America. He has
worked on both direct investments and fund
commitments in these regions and also in Africa.
He has been a Director of CDC since 1999.
Mr. Meek previously worked in two financial
boutiques: UK Project Finance Limited, which
specialised in project finance and structured
lending, and BKR Financial Limited, a corporate
finance company specialising in project finance
and venture capital. He began his financial career
with Morgan Grenfell and Co. Ltd., where he was
responsible for negotiating loans in Africa and the
Middle East.
His earlier career included posts with the
Department of Trade in the UK, Times Newspapers
and Publishing Company, Thomas De La Rue & Co
Ltd.
Mr. Meek is a graduate of Oxford University in
Politics, Philosophy and Economics. |
