Mr. Charlie Wang is a Principal of Pangaea and responsible for capital management. Prior to joining Pangaea Capital Management, Mr. Wang was the Senior Investment Officer at the New York State Common Retirement Fund responsible for a portfolio of alternative investment assets valued at approximately US$16.5 billion. Prior to that, Mr. Wang served as Managing Director of Clemente Capital, responsible for the greater China region. Starting with Merrill Lynch Canada in 1993, Mr. Wang has fourteen years of experience in the banking and securities industry, focusing on alternative investments, international institutions and pension funds, and business development in Asia.

Mr. Wang attended University of Ottawa School of Business Administration, and received a B.S. degree from The Institute of Science and Technology at Changchun, China.
