Mr. Shan is one of the two co-Managing Partners of Newbridge Capital. Mr. Shan is a Director of a number of companies, including Korea First Bank, Bank of China Hong Kong, Baoshan Iron & Steel Company Limited, TCC International Holdings Limited and China Unicom Limited. Mr. Shan was a Managing Director of J.P. Morgan, an assistant professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an Investment Officer at the World Bank in Washington DC. Mr. Shan obtained a number of graduate degrees from American universities including a PhD from the University of California.
